- 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM: Firsthand Account of the Capture at Sea of the Canadian Boat to Gaza – A lecture by David Heap. David Heap gives his account of the Freedom Waves to Gaza which took place in November, when Irish and Canadian boats tried to break the Israeli blockade of Gaza. For more details, click here.
Wednesday, March 7th
- 11:00 – 1:30 PM: Want to see how Palestinians are treated at check points? Want to learn more about Israeli check points? Don’t know what a check point is? Make sure you walk by University of Waterloo’s ring road – by the Environmental building, and you just might get a hint of the injustices Palestinians have to face on a daily basis!

If you physically interfere with people’s movement on campus in your checkpoint spectacle, you will be in violation of UW policies and security will remove you from the premises.
I have already complained to FEDS about this. This is a completely inappropriate event. I doubt the club will have any funding if this proceeds.

I didn’t see it either and I walked around the place a few times looking out for it…
It was non-existent, just like the supposed “Apartheid Wall” in Israel. Better luck tomorrow, haters.
